Who You Are
You’re in a stage of your life where you need to reconnect with yourself and boost your self-esteem. Maybe you’ve never really loved your body, or maybe you used to but then something changed. Our bodies change during our lives, we age, have kids, sometimes we become ill. Wherever you are in life, I can help you.
Give yourself a break from trying to change your body. How much time have you spent thinking about your appearance and trying to change it? Doing diets, googling exercise regimes, beauty treatments, etc. Watching videos of people explaining how “they do it”.
Let’s shush your inner critic and the beauty industry for just a minute.
Imagine freeing up all that headspace for other stuff. You’d have more free time to do what matters to you and the confidence to do it. Body confidence gives you the freedom to accept yourself and free up your headspace. Your new confidence will benefit all areas of your life, including your career and relationships.
The truth is that you don’t have to change yourself to change how you feel about yourself.
I didn’t plan on becoming a body confidence coach, it just happened naturally.
I had a few major wake-up calls that lead me to work in this field. You see, there was a time when I didn’t like my body. The honest truth is that I had a lot of hang ups. I didn’t love my face or body. I wanted to lose weight from the age of 10 until my mid-twenties. On top of that my bite was crooked which meant that my face was far from symmetrical. I had to wear a brace for 4 years and at the age of 20 I had to have my jaw broken and realigned. (Fun fact, I have permanent screws in my face).
So basically… I spent my teens and early 20s feeling like I wasn’t beautiful. Which of course wasn’t true, I was a little cutie (still am).
